The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking seasonal Trainers to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

Trainers are critical to our success as you work to train and support our associates in delivering the best guest service possible. Candidates should thrive in fast-paced environments and have guest service experience. Duties include using training modules, conducting sessions, assessing needs, and supporting train-the-trainer programs.

Pay $18.75 - $17.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Learn all training (alcohol, food safety, etc) modules and POS modules in order to effectively train incoming associates.
• Lead training sessions for all associates, be able to recognize when additional support and training are required, and be able to adapt your training style to help the associate better understand.
• Assist in train-the-trainer for store supervisory team members for on-site module completion. 
• Track the completion of trainings and provide updates to our compliance team.
• Responsible for communicating with store management on training feedback.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle. 
• Other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Experience with training, supporting, and leading teams preferred
• Having a strong attention to detail and being able to communicate well verbally are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for complete 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, reach, and repetitively move items up to 50 pounds.
