Innovative Tax Advisors is looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join their collaborative team. This role is especially active from January 15 to April 16 , with full-time hours during tax season and flexible part-time hours the rest of the year. Whether you're seeking seasonal work or a long-term home with flexibility, we'd love to talk!

Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses
Analyze and review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness
Communicate directly with clients as needed to clarify or request documentation
Use CCH Axcess and Canopy Tax to manage workflows, prep returns, and complete filings
Maintain accurate documentation and track client project time using their digital CRM
Work closely with a small team to ensure exceptional client service and timely submissions
(Full-time availability preferred during this window)
January 15 – March 1: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
March 1 – April 15: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM + Saturdays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Off-season hours: flexible and can vary for the right person!
2+ years of tax prep experience (individual and small business)
Strong knowledge of tax law and filing requirements
CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred (not required)
Confidence working independently and in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with CCH Axcess, Canopy, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, SurePrep, Outlook, and Teams is a plus
