Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Utilize inside sales knowledge and work with inside reps. Learn and sell all modes of services in the company portfolio. Get Quotes for formal and spot bids. Support carrier reps with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction - maintain close contact with all customers, including follow-up on concerns or other issues. Communicate customer problems to management. Share experiences and best practices with the team to ensure success. Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals, and closes. Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit, and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded. Provide documented activity reports via CRM of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Desired Skills And Experience Excellent phone selling and communication skills. Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new systems. Detail-oriented in fast-paced setting. Sales experience is an absolute MUST! Bonus if in 3PL sales! Negotiation skills.
