JOB SUMMARY

As a critical member of our foodservice supply chain, you will work in our Sysco warehouse to pick and prepare orders for delivery to local foodservice venues. Your role will include: Active, physical work involving the operation of an electric pallet jack or forklift. Organizing and palletizing products to efficiently build customer orders. Performing a variety of other duties as assigned. This position includes working in a safe environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels based on local weather and the type of product. Minimum Requirements You must be at least 18 years old. No prior experience is needed, but 0 - 1 year of relevant work experience is a plus. Be prepared to frequently lift products weighing between 10 to 75 lbs, and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Flexibility to reach up to 72 inches. Ability to bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelf areas. Willingness to work in very cold environments (cooler and freezer) as needed. Must be able to stand and work on your feet for 10 - 12 hours each day. Preferred Requirements 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift is preferred. 1 year of warehouse, military, or other physically active job experience. 1 year of selection experience.
