We’re seeking a skilled  Traveling Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with their hands, thrives in changing environments, and enjoys seeing new places while building exceptional structures. Looking for someone local to the Mukwonago, WI area that is open to traveling for work out of state or within the state of WI.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
• Collaborate with site teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Travel to various job sites, sometimes for extended periods
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter (3+ years preferred)
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in diverse environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods

Travel Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
• Lodging and per diem provided for out-of-town assignments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $39.00/hr.
