Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Shift Schedule: - Sunday: 3 PM - 11 PM
- Monday - Thursday: 11 AM - 7 PM
- Contract Length: 95 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our clinical team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. This includes the maintenance of all imaging equipment, assessing patient safety and comfort, and monitoring the need for procedure revisions.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate a variety of imaging equipment with proficiency, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols while conducting imaging procedures.
- Assess and ensure the physical and physiological comfort of patients during procedures.
- Coordinate daily imaging procedures and communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families.
- Keep updated with trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and innovations in imaging technology.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying issues, problem-solving, and contributing to continuous improvement in patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography School.
- Valid NJ State RT License.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Skills: - Knowledge of various imaging equipment and techniques.
- Ability to assess and manage patient needs efficiently.
- Initiative, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
