Trailer Mechanic – Full-Time

Trailer Mechanic Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of trailer repair experience (FHWA-certified preferred).
• Familiarity with brake systems, air lines, electrical, suspension, landing gear, and minor welding.
• Must own tools (per provided tool list).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain.

Trailer Mechanic Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience with various trailer repair techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Trailer Mechanic Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on commercial trailers to ensure safety and functionality.
• Diagnose issues with brake systems, electrical components, and suspension systems.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
