The Trade Sales Assistant Program is designed to prepare successful candidates for a position as a Trade Sales Consultant through a mentorship program. This program will familiarize the successful candidate with all parts of the Trade business. This will include all functions related to the Trade Selling Process which includes but is not limited to prospecting, quoting, pipeline and account management, product, and process knowledge.

The Trade Sales Assistant program is designed to prepare the successful candidate for outside sales after 18-24 months (time frame may vary depending on the specific candidate and the availability of sales consultant positions).

Here’s what winning looks like in this role:

• Attend sales meetings, sales trainings, and industry networking events as requested.
• Ride along with Trade Sales Consultants and become familiar with the sales process
• Learn the Pella product portfolio and demonstrate to customers
• Assist Trade Sales Consultant(s) in essential functions to drive additional revenue including quoting, submitting service tickets, pipeline management, etc.
• Become proficient in the identifying and qualifying of prospects.
• Become proficient in setting high quality meetings.
• Become proficient in the use of CRM, PQM, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, and all office equipment and processes related to Trade operations.
• Shadow Trade Sales support teams to learn ordering and service process.
• Pull service status on active service events.
• Become proficient with field measurement, and installation techniques.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Salary: $24-$37/hour
