Rolite Mfg. is a fast growing company located in Lancaster, NY. Due to our continued and deliberate growth we are in need of qualified Tool and Die associates in order to sustain our current work load. Rolite offers a health care plan, paid time off, competitive pay, and four day work weeks with the possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities Include :

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by observing safety procedures and practices
• Read blueprints to perform die, tooling, and machinery repair using mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools.
• Root cause analysis/problem solving to effectively determine cause of downtime to ensure no repeated issues.
• Make in-press repairs of dies.
• Utilization of multiple measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers.
• Fabricate parts for machinery designed using aluminum, steel, and plastic.
• Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary. Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
• Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools

Qualifications:

• Certified Tool and Die Maker or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of typical stamping operations.
• Ability to work with manual lathes.
• Ability to work closely with QA Department to achieve desirable results from stamping and roll forming department.
• Progressive Die experience required.
• Experience with manual lathes and grinders.

Located in Lancaster, NY, Rolite has nearly a century of experience in manufacturing high-quality, custom metal parts via stamping, roll forming, brazing, in-line induction welding, as well as a multitude of value add production techniques. Rolite services many industries including: Automotive, Mining, Power Generation, Electrical Building Components, Firearms, and Aerospace. The current ownership purchased Rolite in 2007 after 50+ years of combined service to the company. Since that time, Rolite has increased its employee base by 400% and has have expanded our building and facilities twice.
