Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Manager to lead and execute content strategy across all key platforms. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement while aligning content initiatives with broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, influencer marketing, and performance analytics. You’ll lead day-to-day content development, manage creator partnerships, and oversee community engagement—ensuring the brand voice remains consistent, authentic, and culturally relevant across all channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Strategy & Content Management

  • Develop and maintain a strategic, channel-specific content calendar that aligns with marketing and brand goals
  • Own end-to-end content execution including planning, writing, briefing, scheduling, and publishing
  • Track performance and deliver actionable insights using analytics tools (engagement, reach, growth, conversions, etc.)
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on performance metrics and optimization strategies
  • Evaluate and adapt organic and paid content strategies to maximize performance

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

  • Source, brief, and manage influencer and creator relationships that align with brand voice and campaign objectives
  • Develop scalable influencer programs including seeding, sponsorships, and social storytelling initiatives
  • Oversee contracts, usage rights, and track performance to ensure ROI

Amplification & Paid Social Integration

  • Collaborate with media buyers or paid social teams to ensure alignment between organic and paid efforts
  • Build content with retargeting and amplification strategies in mind

Community Management

  • Grow and manage engaged online communities across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Monitor brand sentiment and manage responses in a timely, on-brand manner
  • Identify UGC, emerging trends, and content opportunities that resonate with key audiences
  • Coordinate content shoots, activations, and real-world events to fuel storytelling

Cultural Awareness & Relevance

  • Keep a pulse on pop culture, lifestyle, fitness, and sports trends to inform content development
  • Participate in timely social conversations and cultural moments that elevate brand visibility

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or influencer marketing
  • Proven ability to grow engaged communities and build meaningful influencer partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of platform trends, best practices, and algorithms
  • Proficiency in content performance analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Passion for lifestyle, sports, or fitness culture a plus
  • Bonus: Experience working with content creators, photographers, or production teams
  • Bonus+: Hands-on skills in content creation and familiarity with photo/video production workflows
