Job Description

Job Title: Senior Stock Plan Administrator

• Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Compensation: $132,000 $148,500 base salary + equity + benefits

About the Role:

Discord is seeking a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of its global equity programs . This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient administration of stock options, RSUs, and other equity-related activities. As part of the People and Finance teams, youll work cross-functionally with Legal, Payroll, Tax, and external vendors to support employees and leadership with equity-related education, reporting, and process optimization.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Stock Administration and is open to remote candidates within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer global equity programs including grant processing, option exercises, RSU releases, terminations, tax withholdings, and reporting.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Payroll) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.
• Educate employees about equity programs; create and deliver training and resources.
• Handle SEC compliance including timely filing of Forms 3, 4, and 5, and 10b5-1 plan tracking.
• Maintain SOX compliance and support audit documentation and testing.
• Lead or support other projects related to equity administration.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in stock plan administration at both private and public companies .
• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation required.
• Experience with global equity programs, Carta , Fidelity , and SEC filings (Forms 3, 4, 5).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Passion for employee education and equity program transparency.
