As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol - Multiple Shifts in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the area, remaining highly visible to support a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to incidents, and communicate clearly with both team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential threats, or property damage to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and any interactions as required by site procedures.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with crowd management as needed.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to address security-related concerns and provide guidance during emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
