As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Boulder, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the property. Your visible presence will help create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to various situations with professionalism and care. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
• Work closely with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and support a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
