Salesforce Application Developer Join Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, to work on innovative tools and applications across Salesforce, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Azure, Excel, and Oracle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement tools and applications utilizing Salesforce, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Azure, Excel, and Oracle to meet business objectives. Analyze, maintain, and optimize existing databases and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical users. Develop automation solutions and workflows within Power Apps and SharePoint to streamline business processes. Ensure data integrity and quality across all platforms through testing, validation, and sound governance practices. Support modern delivery practices including CI/CD pipelines and Agile ways of working to improve reliability and release cadence. Provide support and training to end‑users on new tools and applications as needed. Capabilities and Credentials Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Azure, Excel, and Oracle (Salesforce configuration with a Flows‑first approach; Apex/LWC a plus). Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data‑driven applications. Solid programming skills in SQL and familiarity with relevant scripting/automation languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Experience with cloud‑based data platforms and integration services. Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance standards. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Preferred: practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Agile delivery practices. May require a good driving record and a valid driver’s license. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 2–4 years of professional experience in database management, application development, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications in any of the key platforms (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Oracle DB) — multi‑platform is preferred. Previous industry‑specific experience (environmental, engineering, or other professional consulting) is considered an asset. Pay Range Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & various CA, NJ areas – Min Salary $85,000 – Max Salary $123,300 Locations in WA, DC & various CA, MA areas – Min Salary $91,200 – Max Salary $132,300 Benefits Summary Regular full‑time and part‑time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short‑term/long‑term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
