Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Tester in Latin America to support a Fortune 500 manufacturing client of ours. This is a key role in helping the Application Development team deliver success to the business stakeholders. Collaborate with the Software Development teams and other Product Owners to understand the requirements and develop and manage the test scenarios for all the new development projects. Log, communicate, prioritize, and track defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action whenever required. Work with the development team and Database Administrators to identify system deficiencies and escalate to appropriate teams for timely resolution of issues. Deliver quality products by thoroughly testing throughout all phases of development life cycle (Regression, Functional, Integration, End to End testing) using a combination of testing methods. The QA analyst must understand basic concepts, terminology, and practical application of current and emerging technologies. Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions. Proficiency in an extensive range of architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, programming languages, and Business Intelligence. Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications, and implement complete solutions. Define, organize, plan, and execute projects from vision through implementation.

A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience and technical training.
5 years direct experience in software testing (Functional).
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Good analytical/technical abilities and organizational/conceptual skills.
Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers.
Solid ability to self-manage own time.
Solid understanding of SCRUM, development, and testing tools like Jira, VersionOne, ADO, ALM, TFS, etc.
Solid verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms.
Solid understanding of QA life cycle.
Solid understanding and exposure to Agile and DevOps development mindset/methodology.
Good understanding of Test Automation.
Ability to foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
Proven expertise on requirement analysis and definition/refinement.
Solid expertise designing and writing test cases.
Aptitude to learn and understand changes in the software development process, procedures, and methodologies.
Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short, mid, and long-term objectives.
Proven ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be results-oriented and self-motivated.
Demonstrated ability leading, building, and developing cross-teams to deliver successful solutions.
Ability to act as an effective team member.
