The RSC team drives vision, strategy, and delivery by working collaboratively across product, engineering, hardware engineering, finance, business, legal, and operations teams. Key job responsibilities
The Supply Chain Solutions Architect role is a new but critical component of our growing organization.

In order to solve complex supply chain problems, we need to have a deep understand of supply chain customers needs and pain points. This can include core areas such as manufacturing, sourcing strategy, global logistics, value added services, and sales, inventory & operations planning.

This role is responsible for taking those learnings and translating them into a vision and roadmap to deliver best in class services to simplify supply chain management for our customers. We have a diverse set of interconnected systems and physical operations and this role requires the ability to understand how these integrate to deliver full end to end supply chain solutions. This role requires the ability to work across various business and tech teams to partner on requirements and product delivery. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive decisions at the senior executive level. They should thrive in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment with a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Define and align product vision with business goals, and architect and develop the product supply chain roadmap to achieve the product vision and business results.
- Collaborate with global partners, suppliers, product managers to identify detail product requirements and work closely with engineering to manage product supply chain, risks, and trade-offs.
- Influence techs design in partnership with engineering teams across Amazon to make sure technology choices are aligned to our needs, and ensure product design for resiliency, affordability, and quality.
- Develop supply chain flows and communicate plans for feature releases.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Engineering degree with strong technical and commercial acumen in supply chain management, enterprise systems, mechanical, electrical, and system level manufacturing.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, supplier management, contract management, manufacturing, product lifecycle management, roadmap planning, and product requirement decision making.
- Entrepreneurial drive, and proven ability take ownership and influence others.
- Proven ability to drive cohesion and collaboration among many different people & functions.
- Exceptional communication skills which includes clear written and verbal communication as well as the ability to listen effectively.
- Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
- Demonstrable capability to negotiate requirements and decisions effectively across a diverse range of teams and to lead through influence.
- Proven ability and know-how to execute in all phases of the product development life cycle, resulting in high-quality products, delivered on time and the right cost.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner, seeking out areas that need attention, rather than being asked to look at specific problem areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
