We are seeking career-minded individuals for production work. We will train entry-level workers in the industrial environment of the mill. Responsibilities include operation of paper and pulp manufacturing machinery and forklifts. Workers must be able to learn entry-level jobs and advance to other machinery operating roles. Production workers are hourly union positions and must work rotating day and night shifts as scheduled. Please read the qualifications and additional information below. Qualifications Industrial or manufacturing work experience with a good work record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a physical abilities test. Some computer experience. Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night). Ability to stand during a 12-hour shift. Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as the mill operates 24/7. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including filling in for absences. Ability to work overtime as needed. Additional Information Pay increases to $26-$27 per hour after 90 days; initial pay is $20 per hour for the first 30 days. Production job rates range from $24.23 to $35.47 per hour depending on the role; advancement based on seniority and qualifications. All hours worked on Sundays are paid at time-and-a-half; night shift premiums are $.94/hour. Benefits after 90 days include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and 13 paid holidays annually. Employment is contingent upon passing a medical physical, drug screen, physical abilities test, and background check.
