Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Location: Delta View Post Acute
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and PRN Opportunities
Rate: $50

Delta View Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities:

Execute and adapt occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist and physician orders.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, daily treatments, and progress notes, adhering to all state and regulatory requirements.
Communicate with the healthcare team to report on patient progress, coordinate care, and plan for successful discharge.
Assist in training nursing staff and restorative aides.
Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques and equipment usage.
Participate in department maintenance and report equipment issues to ensure a safe and effective working environment.

Qualifications:

A current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
