Job Description

The Multifamily Superintendent is expected to:
  • Manage all phases of construction for multifamily affordable housing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing any potential delays or cost overruns promptly.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any on-site challenges.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to affordable housing construction.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project status and performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Multifamily Affordable Housing Superintendent should have:
  • A strong background in construction management, particularly in multifamily affordable housing projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and construction documents.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges effectively.
