Who You Are: We are seeking a Full Time Transfer Care Specialist to be the heroic sidekick to our esteemed Funeral Directors at Phoenix Transport in Mesa , AZ . In this vital role, you'll assist in the respectful and discreet removal of deceased individuals from various locations, ensuring their safe transport to our funeral homes and care centers. As the right-hand to our Funeral Directors, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to provide comfort and support during difficult times.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Heroic Rescues: Respond promptly and professionally to transfer calls from hospitals, nursing homes, private residences, and other locations, acting with the speed and efficiency of a true sidekick.
  • Dignity Defender: Handle deceased individuals with the utmost care and respect, ensuring their dignity is maintained at all times.
  • Safe Transporter: Safely transport the deceased to the funeral home or care center
  • Documentation Dynamo: Complete all necessary documentation and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Enthusiast: Maintain clean and well-functioning equipment and vehicles, ensuring you are always prepared for action.
  • Compassionate Comforter: Provide empathetic support and assistance to grieving families, offering reassurance and comfort.
  • Team Titan: Collaborate with the Funeral Director and other professionals to ensure seamless and efficient service transport.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License to Save: Must be at least 21 years old, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strength & Agility: Ability to lift and maneuver deceased individuals up to 200lbs, with dignity and respect.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Time Traveling: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Compassion: Empathetic and dedicated to providing exceptional service.
  • Invisibility (Optional): Preferred but not required.
