Marine Terminal Operator to join our dynamic team in Newport News, VA. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in fueling marine vessels while ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
What You'll Do: - Safely operate fueling equipment to deliver fuel to marine vessels.
- Perform pre-fueling inspections and coordinate fueling operations with vessel crews.
- Monitor fuel levels and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Support MARSEC security procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of fueling systems.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or spills using established protocols.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for action.
What You Bring: - Valid TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one.
- Eligibility for MARSEC Level maritime security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in marine fueling or related operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of fuel handling and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain necessary certifications.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
