Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services organization dedicated to supporting community and member financial health, is seeking a Mainframe Developer to join their team. As a Mainframe Developer, you will be part of the IT department supporting enterprise loan applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Mainframe Developer

Location:  Raleigh, NC (mostly remote work)

Pay Range: $60.00

What's the Job?

• Assist with the development and implementation of software for enterprise loans applications
• Write reliable, testable, maintainable, and high-performance code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and vendors to deliver effective solutions
• Gather and analyze data related to user requests, scope, and system impacts
• Design, create, and execute system test plans to validate application functionality

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 7+ years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding
• Proficiency with CICS, JCL, MVS, VSAM, and mainframe change management tools
• Experience working with ALS (Fidelity Information Systems - Advanced Loans System) or similar consumer loan applications
• Strong understanding of COBOL programming language
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
