Industrial Painter

Pay: $22–$25/hour (Depending on Experience)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hours may vary)
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced  Industrial Painter to join our team in Tulsa. This hands-on role involves surface preparation, application of various industrial coatings, and maintaining the highest quality standards in a production environment. Candidates must have prior experience with sandblasting and industrial painting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare steel, aluminum, and other substrates by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and priming surfaces.

• Apply multi-part paints, primers, epoxies, urethanes, and specialty coatings using spray systems, rollers, and brushes.

• Set up and maintain all painting and blasting equipment, including spray booths, spray systems, blasters, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

• Inspect finished surfaces using thickness gauges, sheen meters, and adhesion tools to ensure uniformity and defect-free coatings.

• Assist with rigging and positioning heavy components for safe painting, staging, and load-out processes.

• Follow OSHA guidelines and wear required PPE at all times. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of all paints, solvents, and blasting media.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of industrial painting experience required.

• Prior sandblasting experience in an industrial environment.

• In-depth knowledge of various paint types and mixing procedures.

• Proficiency with spray systems, blasting equipment, inspection gauges, and hand tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications accurately.

• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs as needed.

• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in environments with airborne particulates.
