Comfort Detective

You're SO good with people your family always remark on how easy it is for you to make friends.

But there's another part of you most people don't know about that every homeowner you help soon discovers. You shift into Sherlock Holmes-mode when you get to a home and figure out exactly what's going on and then stun homeowners with your deduction skills and expertise.

Then you explain all their options in the easiest to understand way, delivering a plan on how to solve the issue in the best way possible for our customer's home, family and budget.

You walk into a home, ask the homeowner a few insightful questions, and start spotting the clues:

• The noise when it kicks on.
• The airflow in one room but not another.
• The story about “it was fine until last week.”

Piece by piece, you put it together. You're a heating and air conditioning super sleuth, and when you explain the issue, the customer actually understands it.

You don't hide behind jargon. You lay out the options in plain language, so families feel confident in the decision they're making.

What the Job Looks Like

You'll dispatch from home at 7:00 AM each day.

You'll spend your day diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining comfort systems for homeowners across our service area.

You'll be the face of Ernst — the person who communicates clearly, solves problems with expertise, and leaves homeowners saying, “Wow, I finally get it.”

Every call is different. Every day brings new mysteries. And you'll get the satisfaction of being the one who solves each case to the extreme satisfaction of our customers.

Experience in HVAC service is a major plus, but we'll also train mechanically inclined problem-solvers with strong people skills.

If you're great with tools and your hands, and can listen well, explain clearly, and think critically, you WILL succeed here.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary range: $40K to $70K - Keep progressing to a Lead Tech and earn well over $100K
• Plenty of commission opportunities on top of base pay
