Job Description
As an HVAC apprentice ductwork installer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This may include working on both commercial and residential properties.
Your specific duties may include:
To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and some basic mechanical knowledge. You should be able to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new skills and techniques as needed. You will also be required you to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Being punctual, on time and work ethic are highly important and a basic requirement.
