We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Hunting & Fishing Sales Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for the outdoors, enjoy helping people, and can guide customers to the right gear for their next adventure, we want to meet you!
What You’ll Do
Greet and assist customers warmly, providing expert advice on hunting and fishing gear, techniques, and accessories.
Help customers choose products that fit their needs, intended use, and budget.
Stay knowledgeable on hunting and fishing regulations, local seasons, and best practices.
Ensure your department is organized, visually appealing, and well-stocked.
Process sales accurately and handle transactions through the POS system.
Process hunting/fishing licenses and assist with live bait sales.
Address customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating when needed.
Stay current on outdoor industry trends and new products.
Assist customers in other departments as needed to provide a seamless store experience.
Support team members and contribute to the overall success of the store.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred: prior retail sales experience.
Preferred: personal experience in hunting, fishing, and other outdoor sports.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work with a variety of customers in a respectful and professional manner.
Comfortable using a POS system and handling transactions accurately.
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
