Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hostess to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing guest seating, processing transactions, and assisting with various front-of-house operations in a restaurant or hotel setting.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process to ensure an organized flow.
• Utilize Toast POS systems to accurately process customer orders and payments.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest experience.
• Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food delivery and service quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus, dining tables, and cash register.
• Support overall restaurant operations by helping with food service as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations within a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• A background in hospitality or guest relations will be considered a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
