EVENTS & MARKETING MANAGER

Elevate Guest Experiences Through Creative Events and Engagement

The Events and Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all events, from conception through post-event breakdown. This role is central to enhancing guest experiences and increasing brand visibility through memorable, engaging events that align with core values. The manager oversees event logistics, vendor management, budget adherence, and on-site coordination to ensure seamless and successful guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing:

• Support the Director of Marketing in managing and optimizing social media platforms.
• Manage and execute loyalty program promotions.
• Create and manage marketing assets, including:
• Digital menus and on-property advertising.
• Print materials (A-frames, QR code signage).
• Website updates, including the event calendar.
• Event photography and videography.
• Manage property audio and video content, including music playlists and television programming.
• Develop and distribute team member communications (newsletters, internal postings).
• Implement and oversee team member incentives, recognition programs, and promotions.
• Create recruiting and training assets to support internal initiatives.

Events

• Develop and execute annual marketing, event, holiday, and promotional programming.
• Manage on-site event personnel, ensuring smooth event execution.
• Oversee Local Store Marketing (LSM) initiatives through on-site personnel.
• Manage third-party vendors (e.g., pop-ups, farmers markets, yoga), including selection, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Communicate event details to stakeholders, including team members, tenants, management, and guests across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and manage the annual events budget.

Catering

• Drive catering sales and bookings, managing event space and catering packages.
• Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of F&B catering services.
• Establish and maintain catering procedures, ensuring consistent training and adherence to standards.
• Work with the Director of Operations to develop and achieve annual catering sales budgets.

Guest Relations

• Monitor and respond to guest feedback and inquiries via Sprout and social media platforms.
• Analyze and report on guest feedback trends to inform programming and service improvements.
• Monitor local social media groups to maintain community engagement and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

• The Events and Marketing Manager must have 3+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, OR hospitality management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are needed for the Events and Marketing Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed for the Events and Marketing Manager.
• The Events and Marketing Manager should be proficient in social media management, content creation, and the use of digital marketing tools
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules is needed for the Events and Marketing Manager.
