The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio, attention to detail, and an intrinsic drive to create beautiful, thoughtful work. This role calls for a digital problem solver who can visually communicate Dorai’s premium yet functional brand positioning. They should have a deep passion for creativity and stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies to ensure their work remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.

You’ll partner closely with our Senior Brand Designer and Senior Marketing Director to execute design initiatives that reflect Dorai’s premium-yet-approachable positioning. The ideal candidate brings a design-systems approach, an intuitive sense of brand, and the ability to work quickly across digital touchpoints. This is a hybrid role with 2 days at the office and the remaining days remote or at photoshoot locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate fresh visual ideas for emails, digital ads (Meta, Pinterest), video, Amazon storefront, and other marketing materials.
• Concept, design, and execute static and video ads across product categories for social, email, and Amazon channels. Bring a system’s approach to working with templates and components within Figma.
• Translate brand direction from the Brand Designer and execute concepts with the smart usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout that adhere to Dorai’s brand guidelines.
• Take initiative to understand deliverables and proactively seek clarification of goals when needed.
• Proactively prepare and participate in concept reviews and strategy meetings, updating & developing creative assets in reaction to feedback.
• The ability to curate your ideas and work to put forth the strongest iterations and have a growth mindset around feedback and opportunities for improvement
• Stay current with design trends and tools to help keep Dorai’s brand competitive and fresh
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

• A portfolio is required for consideration
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in visual or graphic design with a digital emphasis
• A portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, email design, or analogous digital touchpoints
• Strong aesthetic instincts with a refined eye for typography, color, and layout
• Ability to think conceptually and strategically, aligning design with brand and business goals
• Proficiency in Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• E-commerce experience is a bonus
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative setting
• Passionate about great design and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful
• Willingness to work in an office environment in Salt Lake City, Utah, multiple days a week
