Essential Job Functions


The crane operator:

• Observes load hookup and determines the safety of load.
• Manipulates or depresses crane contro.
• Cleans and maintains cranes and hoisting mechanisms.
• Regularly inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
• Attaches load hooks or other accessories prior to operating crane.
• Repairs defective parts on crane.
• Operates overhead cranes, other lifting equipment, and other company vehicles.
