Job Description
Company Description
You may know us as Wonderful Pistachios, FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Halos Citrus, Teleflora and JUSTIN Wine, but we’re all Wonderful.
We are seeking a sharp, business-minded Regulatory & Privacy Counsel who can balance compliance with creativity in a fast-moving environment. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Global Regulatory Affairs & Privacy, the Regulatory & Privacy Counsel will lead day-to-day counseling and compliance efforts related to FDA, FTC/consumer protection, and privacy/data protection issues for our food and beverage businesses. You’ll advise on labeling, claims, marketing practices, and responsible data use so our brands can innovate confidently while maintaining compliance and consumer trust.
The Wonderful legal team is a full-service law group with approximately 100 individuals (including 50 attorneys) that includes regulatory, real estate, employment, intellectual property, transactional, education and government affairs teams. We partner directly with our brands and do the legal work in-house instead of just managing outside counsel. As a privately held, vibrant, entrepreneurial company, we move quickly without public-company bureaucracy. Here you will find a unique opportunity to continue to expand and hone your legal skills in collaboration with a supportive team, while developing your business acumen and learning to partner with each of our businesses in a way that meets their individual needs. Our lawyers are highly regarded across our businesses as go-to problem solvers and partners. With no billable hours or pressure to get or retain clients, we strive for balance and excellence.
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
