• Commercial Roofing Project Manager Intern

Compensation:

• $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (Based on Qualifications & Experience)

Schedule:

• 28 hours per week (Part-time, In Person)

Job Description:

The Nashville, Tennessee branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The Project Manager Intern will gain exposure to project planning, coordination, and execution. Working alongside experienced project managers, this role offers real-world experience in managing timelines, subcontractors, and field progress for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating project activities
• Support communication between field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Attend job site meetings and document project progress
• Help with material tracking, quality checks, and safety compliance
• Update project logs, reports, and document control systems
• Learn project management software and internal workflows
• All other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment
• Interest in roofing, waterproofing, or building envelope systems
• Comfortable on active construction sites and willing to learn safety protocols
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Primarily a sitting role, working at a desk or workstation, in a climate-controlled office environment; however, may need to visit project sites for scope assessment, project status or meetings.
• Ability to see, speak, type, climb stairs, walk, stand, kneel, twist/turn, reach and bend to complete a wide range of tasks applicable to the position.
• May require intermitting lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of items no more than 10 pounds.
• May require occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of items up to 25 pounds.
