• Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour, based on experience

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and optimizing outcomes in accordance with the highest standards of nursing practice. Your critical thinking and decisiveness will be key in handling complex and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing for procedures by assessing patients, reviewing medical records, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Reacting promptly to life-threatening situations using established nursing standards.
• Delivering nursing care in a challenging and technologically advanced environment.
• Assessing the educational needs of patients and families, providing age-appropriate and culturally sensitive education.
• Working independently while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with valid license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Completion of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program; if less than 3 years of experience, other training may be accepted
• 6 months of RN experience or graduation from UCHealth Fellowship program
• BLS certification required before start date
