Scuttlebutt Brewing Company is family owned, proudly independent and has been in business for over 25 years. We are growing, and need to add to our brewing team. We are serious about innovation and quality. Our production brewery consists of a 20 BBL Brewhouse, multiple 20, 40 and 60 BBL fermenting vessels and bright beer tanks, a Wild Goose Evolution Canning line and a GEA Centrifuge. We offer a supportive team environment and are looking for a reliable cellarman / assistant brewer to join our team. Responsible for assisting with brewing operations including: cellaring, packaging, general cleaning, yeast handling, CIP’s, transferring, centrifuging, etc, and the potential to get trained in wort production.

• Accurate record keeping with brewing, cellaring and fermentation data.
• Uphold QA/QC standards and participate in sensory evaluations.
• Accurately follow standard operating procedures.
• Work safely in a fast paced production environment. Safety first, always.
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, bend, lift 50lbs repeatedly and stand throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment that promotes efficiency and safety.
• Provide support to other coworkers as needed.
• Have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Full Time Monday – Friday: 35 Hours/ Week

Forklift experience & certification is a plus but not required.

Previous brewery experience is a plus.
