Silver & Serpentine
… is the working title for the game I’ve been chipping away at for … (checks notes) … over a decade now.
More info will be here.
Eventually.
It’s going to take a while.
OK, one tidbit since you’re here:
Serpentine: One of the earliest forms of gunpowder.
First, there was 火药, the “Fire Medicine” invented by Taoist Alchemists in search of an elixir of immortality. The earliest recipes were only strong enough to make smoke bombs and simple fireworks. Decades passed. The ingredients were fine tuned and purified. The mix became stronger. It started to be used in war.
Coming westward, the explosive powder and its sulfur stink reminded the Europeans of darker powers, like the serpent in the Garden of Eden. They called it Serpentine.
